Adventure Art by Children began with an idea: give children’s imaginative drawings a place on a T-shirt, while keeping the character of the original artwork.
A panda with personality
Liva was seven when she created Rock Panda. After watching Kung Fu Panda, she decided to draw a panda character of her own. A sticker with star-shaped sunglasses completed the look.
Keeping the original idea
For this series, we prepare contributed drawings for print by cleaning up marks and filling missed areas. The aim is to preserve what makes the child’s drawing distinctive, rather than polish away its personality.
The photographs show Liva’s drawing and the resulting Rock Panda T-shirt.
